Back by popular demand, a very successful Quiz and Curry Night was held on Saturday 5th November with Peter Adhemar as the Quiz Master. In first place, with over 70% was Geoff & Kath Bell and Annabella & Ian Mann. 8 teams turned out to the event.

ERNIE OWEN INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIP 2016
Congratulations to Joyce Pearson, winner of the 22nd Individual Championship, held annually in memory of the late Ernie Owen, by a narrow margin of just 3% over second placed Jaime Fraser. Well done to all 36 competitors for a friendly and enjoyable evening.
OPEN TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIP 2016
Congratulations to the team of Jean Johnson, Margie Way, Roman Smolski and Misha Novakovic, our Open Teams Champions for 2016. This was a team comprising some of the Club's stronger players, and their performance - winning all their five matches - reflected their combined ability. Well done to all those who took part in this competitive but enjoyable championship.
Junior Teams 2016
Congratulations to the team of Lane Martin, John Luebkermann, Sharon Shanahan and Claude Guay for winning the 2016 Junior Teams Championship. Four teams took part over the two sessions - the winners started with a bang with their first match and then led the field for the rest of the competition. Well done to them and to all competitors for a pleasant and friendly event.
