Congratulations to Julia Tadman and Joshimar Hussey, who took the Junior Pairs title by just two matchpoints from the Session 1 leaders Tracey Pitt and David Leach.  Close behind in third place overall were Desiree Woods and Ross Cooper.  Winners of the lower strat with two steady sessions were Richard and Lulu Neame, who finished fifth overall, just behind Amanda Ingham and Heidi Roberts in fourth.  Thirteen pairs took part over two Tuesday evenings - thanks to all who competed in the event. 

Congratulations to Linda and Bill Pollett, the Open Pairs Champions of 2026.  In the Club's first championship of the year, Linda and Bill were lying third at the lunch break, behind last year's winners Misha Novakovic and Margie Way, but winning the afternoon session ensured a victory over Judy Bussell and John Rayner in second place overall and an excellent showing by third placed Delton Outerbridge and Tim Mardon, one of the three junior pairs taking part.  Thanks to all who competed in the 52 board marathon.
