On Monday 24th August, the club said a sad farewell to Annelies Scheland, who is leaving the island in early September.  She is going to England to live near her children and grandchildren.  She will be looking for a bridge club nearby - it will be their gain and she will be sorely missed by everyone.  In fitting with her style, the cake was in the design of a Channel handbag, made by Kamilah of Sweet Bakery in St Georges.
