1. Eligibility, qualifying sessions and partnership requirements

f) The competition will commence on the first Tuesday of the year and will conclude on the last Tuesday before the Bermuda Bridge Club Christmas party.
g) If a player’s partner is not a member of the Bermuda Bridge Club, any masterpoints earned towards JPOY will only count at the discretion of the Tournament Director.

i) For the avoidance of doubt, there is no minimum number of partners that a competitor must have played with in order to be eligible.

b) In the event that a side game is played on a Tuesday evening at the same time as a Junior Club Championship game, only the points earned in the Championship game will count towards JPOY.
c) Subject to the rules and regulations of this competition, the player scoring the most masterpoints will be declared the JPOY. In the event of a tie, the title will be shared.
