Congratulations to the team of Sarah Bowers, Stuart Clare and Rob and James Mulderig, winners of the Junior Teams Championship 2023.  A strong performance gave them a comfortable victory on the last round.   In second place was the team of Jean Schilling, John Thorne, Erika Jones and Caitlin Conyers, while the biggest single match win of the evening on the last round pulled the team of Richard Neame,  Linda Manders, Sarah-Jane Varley and Sharon Andrews up into third place.  Six teams competed in an enjoyable event.

A good time was had by all at the Christmas party with 70 people in attendance.  Congratulations to Bill Pollett for winning the Calcutta.

At the Wednesday morning game on 6th December, we all celebrated Felicity Lunn's 90th birthday.  There was a big turn out of 10 tables, including 5 nonagenarians playing.

On Monday 6th November after the game, everyone raised a glass to wish Gwen Christensen a very happy 99th Birthday - quite an achievment!
