Congratulations to Paul Thompson and Devam Sukhija who put together two excellent sessions to win the Non-Life Master Pairs held on Tuesday 15th and Thursday 17th June.
After the scrambled Mitchell on Tuesday the leaders were Russell Craft and Bill Pollett with 108 matchpoints, closely followed by Sally and Scott Godet with 106 and the eventual winners third on 103.
The second session comprised two four table Howells ensuring that all pairs had played each other by the end of the event. Paul and Devam had a stellar 68.7% game to finish with a total of 204 matchpoints, closely followed by Russ and Bill on 199. Sally and Scott were third with 182.5.
There was an excellent turnout of 16 pairs that made for an extremely competitive event. Steve Ball directed.
