Well done to Russell Craft and Misha Novakovic who put together two very solid sessions to win the Non_Life Masters Pairs on Thursday 18th June.
After the first session on Tuesday, they were tied for first with Judy King and Steve Cosham on 66 points with defending champions Deb Randall and Greg Carey just one point behind. Amazingly the winners again gained 66 matchpoints in the second session to finish on 132, with Deb and Greg in second place with a total of 122.5. They just pipped Gill Gray and Pat Siddle who were a very creditable third with 122. Fourth place went to Annabella Fraser and Barrie McKay who had a storming second session and finished with 121.
The event was extremely competitive and was played in a great spirit - the true essence of bridge! Steve Ball directed.
